We are delighted to host a pop-up event for Scotland’s Elements festival. Organised by the Scottish Goldsmiths Trust in partnership with Lyon & Turnbull Auctioneers, the festival is an annual celebration of leading UK Jewellers and Silversmiths.

Today, the world seems far smaller thanks to video calls, instantaneous news and information at our fingertips. We can cross the globe in a matter of hours and can easily discover the new and the beautiful. We have a solid vision of what our existence looks like; its beauty and its challenges and can explore everything at our leisure.

Next month, we are set to celebrate handcrafted works from our 155-year history in our Celebrating our Craft exhibition in August. Located at our recently renovated showroom in Edinburgh, the exhibition highlights the exceptional work of generations of artisans, the earliest piece dating back to 1887.

A goblet inspired by the weights on railway signals and handcrafted from ethically sourced silver will be among the beautiful pieces in Celebrating our Craft, our upcoming exhibition celebrating Scottish jewellery and silversmithing.

Over the past year, Hamilton & Inches has undergone an extensive renovation project, designed to protect the building and our business for the next 155 years.  At the heart of the project, was the careful restoration of our much-loved Georgian showroom, which saw the involvement of award-winning designers and craftspeople throughout the UK.

We are delighted to be part of a group of Scottish retailers who have helped raise £16.4 million for good causes in 2020. The beneficiaries include emergency food provisions, sustainable contributors, NHS charities and many more.
