Hamilton & Inches are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Scottish Ballet.
Created to help further the future of our crafts, the Hamilton & Inches Craft Academy seeks to raise the profile and support the longevity of silversmithing, goldsmithing, engraving and watchmaking.
However, not limited to our own four walls, that appreciation of artistry and the rigorous training needed in the pursuit of excellence extends to many disciplines, including the world of dance. This summer we are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Scottish Ballet, as we embark upon a sponsorship programme to support Principal dancer, Bethany Kingsley-Garner.
Bethany joined Scottish Ballet in 2007, after training at the Royal Ballet School. Having performed many iconic roles, her career highlight was her promotion to Principal dancer for Scottish Ballet in 2016.
Scottish Ballet, founded in 1969, is Scotland’s national dance company. Based in Glasgow, the company performs regularly across Scotland, throughout the UK and internationally – promoting Scotland’s pioneering spirit far and wide.
Under CEO/Artistic Director Christopher Hampson, Scottish Ballet presents bold, adventurous performances rooted in strong classical technique, accompanied by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra. The company’s broad repertoire includes new versions of the classics and ground-breaking commissions, both on stage and screen.
Scottish Ballet runs an extensive engagement programme, tailored to the needs of diverse communities, promoting confidence, fostering wellbeing, and encouraging creativity through dance. Scottish Ballet is funded by the Scottish Government.
We are delighted to be supporting such a wonderful institution who strive for excellence, innovation and inclusion in all that they do. We hope our sponsorship raises awareness to the fantastic resource they are for many. For more information, visit: scottishballet.co.uk
