Supporting Scottish Women's Football
In 2018, we were approached by SSE and The Daily Record to create a trophy based on a winning design for Scottish Women’s Football. The design, by Ella Sharp, was inspired by the shape of an ice cream cone. The trophy was lifted for the first time by Hibernian in November 2018 and remains one of our proudest recent creations.
A Design Come to Life
We were so pleased that 11 year old Ella, the designer of the trophy, was so keen to be involved in the making process. A football fan, she was inspired by an ice cream cone on a warm summer's day and witnessed the work of the silversmiths, hand-engravers and polishers first hand. Speaking of the experience, Ella said, "I just can't believe that something I created has been made into such a beautiful figure. I'm absolutely delighted."
