A Unique Creation
In 2020, The Glenrothes released 50 bottles of their first ever 50 Year Old single malt: a testament to half a century of passion and craft. The 50th of 50 is the finest jewel in The Glenrothes crown and so we partnered with them to hand-craft a worthy adornment.
Two Scottish brands steeped in history and heritage, both quietly dedicated to craftsmanship, tradition and artistry. As The Glenrothes draw whisky from the pure springs of Rothes, we drew gold from Scotland’s only gold mine, to craft a decanter beyond compare. The rare was transformed into the remarkable.
The decanter had to be extraordinary. The rarity of the whisky demanded it. Discover the joint craft, care and commitment that went into creating the 50th of 50.
The Glenrothes
The Glenrothes has been making whisky quietly, and without compromise, since 1879. Their rich and rounded single malt is immaculate and unchanging, handcrafted by a community of whisky makers.
The Spirit of Rothes is an attitude, a way of life, inspired by the people who call Rothes home. Find out more about the Spirit of Rothes today, and become part of the best kept secret in Speyside.
THE GLENROTHES DISTILLERY“This collaboration with Hamilton & Inches unites the exceptional craft & commitment of a Master Whisky Maker & Goldsmith to ensure that our last decanter, “The 50th of 50” is very special.”
