Hamilton Race Course

Racing at its Finest

Set in some of the most picturesque grounds in British horse racing, Hamilton Park has been hosting competitions since 1782 and is embedded in the history of Scotland's great sporting history. On display are two prestigious trophies; The Watson Memorial Cup and the Saints & Sinners Challenge Cup.

Watson Memorial Cup

The Watson Memorial Cup is presented annually to the winner of one of Hamilton Park’s richest races, the Almada Mile Handicap as a fitting tribute combining the local significance of both the race and the Watson family. Crafted in 2018, our team of silversmiths and polishers united to create a trophy worthy of a win.
