Our Services Team
Our services team, each experts in their field, can assist you with the repair, valuation or improvement of your treasured piece. For over 155 years, Hamilton & Inches' talented team have offered the very finest of knowledge and skills and we are lucky to have a number of esteemed sepcialists in a varity of fields.
Toby Barrett
Toby studied Horology at university and following graduation quickly gained accredited service experience with several prestigious brands before joining Hamilton & Inches in 2018. As a watchmaker, Toby is committed to providing the highest level of service to our clients and is continuously developing his professional servicing skills.
He is currently level 30 Rolex accredited and will continue to develop this specialism in our Rolex-accredited workshop. Toby is able to provide you with a full service for several modern watches following specific Rolex standards. This includes the complete service of the movement and polishing of the case and bracelet.
Leonie Armin
Leonie joined Hamilton & Inches in 2017, following a wealth of experience working for the most prestigious auction houses in Scotland. With FGA and DGA diplomas from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, she is an expert in natural gemstones, diamonds and pearls, as well as gemstone treatments and synthetic gems. She is also a fully certified Gem-A member and a member of the NAJ.
As with the rest of the Service team, Leonie is committed to professional development. She is currently studying for the Certificate of Appraisal Theory, which will allow her an advanced technical understanding of gemstones.
Alexandra Kennedy
Alexandra Kennedy is our service supervisor, having recently graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art with a BA Hons Jewellery and Silversmithing. Her passion for jewellery, watches and silverware is evident in her role, which sees her oversee the repair, cleaning, servicing and valuation of items. Working alongside the workshop and service teams, she is the liaison point between customer and craft.
Alexandra has a personal interest in print making, inspired by people and culture. As a recent graduate, she has honed her silversmithing skills over the past four years, culminating in the creation of a series of hammered, grooved silver dishes.
