Originating in the western highlands centuries ago, over time the quaich has been the favourite drinking cup throughout scotland and to this day it is whisky that remains a quaich’s most welcome partner. The gaelic ‘cuach’ means a shallow cup and a quaich has two or three handles known as ‘lugs’. This sterling silver Hamilton & Inches 4 inch quaich with plain finish to bowl and stag head handles, has been made in our Hamilton & Inches workshops above our showroom at 87 George Street.
