Choosing an engagement ring
When it comes to choosing an engagement ring, it’s important to select a ring that is not only beautiful, but also symbolises your everlasting relationship. Every diamond has its own personality. It is as individual as a person, so there is one out there that’s perfect just for you. Your diamond soulmate. Beginning the search for “the one” can be daunting. Firstly, look at the style of ring. Do you prefer the simplicity of a solitaire, the symbolism of a three-stone or the classic style of a cluster ring?

Dario batzella: goldsmith’s craft & design council award winner
Hamilton & Inches are fiercely proud of our Craftsmen. Their workshops are all housed above our George Street showroom, and it is here that they create contemporary pieces using traditional techniques. They are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to helping them continually develop their skills to become truly world-class in their field. Having studied a number of techniques, including engraving, at the Italian mint in Rome, Dario Batzella moved to Edinburgh to work for Hamilton & Inches in May 2017 as a Trainee Engraver.
Designer showcase event
Always at the forefront of the fine jewellery market, Hamilton & Inches hand-pick partners on a variety of different criteria, namely high quality and global acclaim. We are thrilled to introduce three new brands to our showroom for 2019 – Annoushka, Marla Aaron, and Charlotte Chesnais, and celebrate an existing, respected designer - Georg Jensen. A champagne-filled, canape-fuelled, artistically lit Designer Showcase event in collaboration withiOn Magazine on 7th February 2019 was the perfect way to welcome our new brands to Hamilton & Inches and introduce them to Edinburgh. Illuminated by Jamie Cooper’s sculptural objects, our designer showcase brands were sparkling under (literal) streetlight, and our guests quenched by a range of cocktails specially designed to reflect the ethos of each designer.
